Green Gable, Great Gable, Styhead Tarn, Sprinkling Tarn, Sourmilk Gill – all magical sounding places in the heart of Borrowdale in the Lake District.
That was the setting for our men’s weekend away from 18th-20th November. To go walking in the Lake District in November is at best risky and at worst foolhardy, but we were blessed with amazing weather and stunning views.
True, our first meal got accidentally left at home and one car went to the wrong location (for future reference there are three Seathwaites in the Lake District – make sure you get the right one if you’re heading there!) Yet in spite of everything we had a great weekend together, thinking about God and getting to know each other better. Looking forward to the next one already.
