It's still not too late to join this year's ever-popular singing sensation. Join millions of others all over the world as over the next few weeks they ... sing Christmas Carols!

Whilst not providing the same international fame and fortune as the show on ITV, by joining Hope Tameside Gospel Choir at least you won't be facing a weekly sing off under the glare of Simon Cowell. Instead, you can simply have fun singing with like-minded people of all ages and abilities.

Under the watchful eye of choir director Sue Green ( think: Cheryl Cole, not Louis Walsh ), you'll spend the next couple of thursdays being shown step by step how to make a fantastic noise, doing your part in a large, friendly choir. Worried about not being able to read music? No problem - Sue has put together a training CD! If you can play a CD at home or in your car, you'll be up and running in no time. Everyone is welcome!

After all your hard work, you'll thoroughly enjoy the public performance at Holy Trinity's 'Simply Christmas' Carol Service, 13 December 2009. Don't forget to invite your friends and family ... and possibly booking agents; You just never know ;-)
